This is a reeeeeally
hard thing to see. I know. I'm not just saying
that. And the Truth is, you will not see it
fully until your perspective is broad enough. You've got to widen
yourself to take in more of the world, more of what you think
couldn't possibly be a part of you. Truthfully, I can't tell
you exactly how to get there. It's not so much a path
as it is a merging. But I can tell you what you'll
find when you do. Or try to. :-) Maybe this will help a bit.
It's hard to look at things like the
impoverished, or the tragedies like Darfur, or Rwanda, and it's
impossible to see them and think they should have been that
way. And I agree. They shouldn't. The biggest initial
hurdle that we have to see across to see the bigger picture is
this: People think "That's crazy. NO ONE would wish
themselves into having to jump from a building rather than be
burned like on 9/11, or be raped and killed in Darfur, or watch
your child be hacked to death with a machete. NO ONE." And
they're right. But the problem comes from the fact that they do
not consciously yet remember how the Universe moves,
how it creates. Everyone organically knows it,
but that knowing quickly gets buried alive when we believe with our eyes
instead of with what is inside. We buy into the lie. We limit
ourselves. We fall into line. And there we go, quietly into
the night.
Throughout time, people have always
attempted to apply morality and judgment to the 'Universe', most
often through religion or other forms of government.
But morality and judgment are relative, and are entirely manmade. They
have no true substance, other than what we give them when we
transiently spin them into action. We've tried valiantly to
assign a list of 'right' and 'wrong' to the 'Universe'. But the
'Universe' doesn't see right or wrong. The 'Universe' only sees
you. It is a function of
you. And whatever you have in the deepest parts
of your heart, whether that be feelings of low self-worth, or
fear of dying horribly, or desire to win the marathon - the
'Universe' rushes to supply you with by the most relevant and
direct means. It doesn't question what you want. It's like an
operating system, reading the software you've installed. It
just goes and does. On, Off. 1, 0. It makes no messy moral
judgments. It does it's function magnificently, and
that function is to supply you with whatever it finds written
there inside you. That is why it is so important to dig up what
you have encoded there.
Anyhow, this is how these
'horrible things' seem to happen. And not only do we do this
as 'individuals', we also do it collectively - the world is our
body and we all are the cells that make up this world-body. We
do it 'individually' and 'collectively'. We create. And the
'Universe' passes no judgment on what we create. It only brings
forth what we ask it to, what we decide in our minds is 'going
to be' or are afraid 'will be'. Also, things
manifest as byproducts of what the 'Universe' reads within
you. For example, you may have low self esteem encoded there,
and the 'Universe' rushes to manifest this in whatever way is most
relevant for you, by making you physically unattractive, or
hooking you up in a degrading relationship, or work a demeaning
job, or whatever. It doesn't question it. It just does it. It
helps you manifest your low self-esteem. On, off. 1, 0.
The next thing that you're bound to
think of is, "Ok...I see what you're saying there....a bit....but
what about being born into horrible conditions of poverty, or
birth defects or illness. You weren't even born yet, so how
could you have asked for this?" Well, first we must remember
that no one is ever truly born, nor do they die (see my video
"Finding What Is Real"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fK3__1YYaRw&feature=channel_page ).
We may experience being "newborns", but NONE of us are 'new', as
shown in my videos "Expanded Perspectives"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4mI2rrl-xIn (part one) and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxyTtb13hAc (part two).
A good way to try and understand this with our teeny mortal mentality is to think of what we view as "our life" as a sports arena, and we're all inside. People seem to 'arrive' or be born as they enter the door on one side, and they seem to die or 'leave' as they exit the opposite door. When you only see from inside the arena, that's all you see, but when you gain a bigger perspective, say you were in a blimp that was circling the arena, you could see no one appeared or disappeared. They went through the "In" door, passed through the Arena of Life, and seemed to leave by the exit door. But then they just walk around and get back in line to go back in the In door, if they wish, or mill about outside, or go somewhere else. No one dies. No one is born. No one comes, or goes. If you are here, you have always been here, and will always be here. But the people who can only see from inside the arena do not know this. And that is most the people in the world, right now. (I've got to do a better video on that one day).
So, no one is 'born' into anything
or 'dies' from anything. It is a continuation of what was
already in motion, and, for lack of a better example, a kind of
harmonics determine what condition we seem to
"reappear" in or "disappear" from, like when you strike a tuning
fork and other tuning forks of the same note will tone without
you striking them - it's a 'gathering' - something like that.
It still escapes me to verbalize it effectively, so don't get
bogged down in it if it's not quite clear. :-) Just know it is
a continuation, not a new beginning, or a bad hand someone was
randomly dealt.
Anyhow, now I hope you've begun to
understand a little towards how all this could possibly be
true. It's
Perspective. You gotta have it, or you won't see it, but I
hope at least you've been able to peek over the fence a bit.
There is a logic, a beauty that surpasses all mortal
understanding - there truly is. But from our confused
perspectives, we see victims, we see helplessness. And so we
have fear. We have anger. But what we truly have is ALL the
cards in our hands. Our goal should be to find out
what lies in our deepest of hearts, for this produces who we
are, and what we experience. It doesn't judge it.
It just manifests what it finds there.
Here's a real, live example: Take
ANYTHING from your life that you do not like and believe you
wouldn't have put there - anything. And then, find that quiet
place inside of you, where you have no opinion - you have no
filters. Just stand there and ask "WHY?" Ask what this 'thing
or event" grew from. And, in my experience, you will have
an immediate answer. You will be shocked. :-D Then, the
only thing you have to worry about is getting your footing on
how to uproot and replant what you WANT to be there, and that is
what I am doing right now.
And that's why I posted the
"Happy New
Years from Plato's Cave" video. People must remember that they are pulling the strings,
otherwise, we continue to create in our sleep and mark it off to
fate, or genetics, or karma, or god - each of which is simply
us, calling ourselves by a different name. It is imperative we
remember how the 'Universe' moves, and how we create. And as we
are all connected, this remembering and the subsequent
adjustment of our
thoughts and beliefs lifts us all.
When one rises, we all rise. We are One body. Thank you to those of you who've ask these hard questions, for you are the ones who provide me the opportunity to elaborate further. I hope this helps. :-) Much love~ PS- I do not mean to imply that the 'Universe' is a machine, cranking out dishes like a short order cook. Not at all. But we use whatever examples we can to attempt to convey That Which truly cannot be conveyed - It can only be known. In many ways, the 'function' of the 'Universe' is much more like a dance. Not a machine. It is dynamic, fluid, turning deftly on it's heel as it makes what seems impossible effortless. It is much more like that. So do not rely on my words. These are only for your consideration. To find what is Real, what is True, you have to get up out of your seat and dance. Then you will know it. :-) |
