The Judge

How slowly

Do we learn to

Abandon judgment

And our perceived right

To meter out justice

To reward

To chastise

To defend

To attack

How very slowly do we learn to trust

That justice is inherent in God’s creation

Silly us

We keep thinking

He requires our help
