Union

The ants were in darkness, but saw

the chasm was deep

but not too wide.

The first one jumped across

and the rest followed

one by one

until all arrived safely

on the other side

and as they marched into the sunlight

someone noticed they weren't ants at all,

but rather

one big caterpillar.
