The Joy of Knowing

1 The Electrifying Truth

This video series is by far the most provocative thing that I have ever put forward.  Even so, some of you will get  these things I am going to point to today, and you will never see your world the same again.  And then, there will be the others who will think that what I am trying to point to today is a collection of the most impossible things that they have ever heard come out of my mouth.  And either is fine.  Because these things are very hard to point at - in fact, I worry I may do a bad job.  But perhaps my trepidation is actually a good sign because it is said that:

The Tao that can be told
is not the eternal Tao

Let me know what you think.

There’s a lot of new stuff you are going to hear in this series, and it will undoubtedly raise as many questions as it answers.  But stay with me. We’ll get to these questions next time. For now, all I ask is one thing of you:  Just entertain the possibility that what I am about to point to may be true.

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.
Buddha

Everything has an order, and this order can be seen in the patterns that repeat themselves in our world, as demonstrated by the intriguing and beautiful Mandelbrot Fractals.  And here’s a fun thing to note:  We also demonstrate patterns.  We do.  In the case of what we like to call enlightenment, I bet you’ve never noticed that we tend to behave very similar to electrons

Science has found that electrons do not rise slowly in their orbits through graduated energy levels, like a plant growing slowly toward the sun.  An electron remains at its current lowest energy level until it gains enough energy to jump to the next band or shell, and it will discard energy that it receives that isn’t sufficient to allow it to make this jump.

And if you think about it, we do the same thing as we go through our levels of awareness.  Sometimes we seem to get stuck in one level forever until BAM! Something we hear or see kicks us over into an entirely new playing field.  But if it isn’t enough to make this jump, then we discard it.  And that’s what’s going to happen today.  You’re either going to hear what you need to hear to kick you into a new band of awareness, or you are going to discard what you hear until a later time when it IS enough.  I don’t know WHY it happens this way, but it always seems to be so.  I can’t TELL you the number of times in my journey that I have come across something and thought “that couldn’t possibly be true”, and then later on I come across it again and I suddenly get it, and wonder how in the world I could have ever missed it the first time.   And I’m certain this sounds very familiar to many of you, too.   And so though some of you may get what I am going to point to immediately, there are those of you who may not, and if not, don’t feel bad.  It will come to you later, when you are more ripe and are able to hear it. It always does.

So, let’s get going.  Please join me in part two to learn the importance of toggling

2- Toggling:  Wearing More than One Hat

There are crossroads in our lives where we sometimes find ourselves wearing more than one hat.  For example, we may be both Mother and business person, or we may be both father and son, all at the same time.  And so we toggle back and forth between roles, sometimes slowly and deliberately, othertimes so rapidly and with such fluidity that this shift is barely noticeable.  In fact, usually, we don’t even think about it.

So, we find ourselves grabbing and wearing whatever hat we find most appropriate at the moment. And this is only possible because we are innately BOTH, so this switch is easily made.  This is important to hear - we are already BOTH.  So, what makes the difference in who we seem to be?  It is our ACTIONS, our INTENT and FOCUS at that moment that determines who we seem to be.  But we are always BOTH.

So, we find ourselves at crossroads, toggling between roles all the time in our daily life, and we barely notice it has occurred.  And now, with this video, I am about to place you in this same crossroad, but spiritually.  And just like in our everyday life, this crossroads could not be successfully navigated if we were not already innately tuned in to the different perspectives, these different hats that we are toggling between.  Because the Truth is, though we seem to go from one to the other, we are always everything at ONCE.  And this is the main point I am getting at here:  We must realize that

We are the ONE,

and

we are one of many.

All at the same time.

Now, We all have things about us that aren’t balanced within our lives, in fact, it is our desire for reconciliation, for balance and wholeness that sets us all on this Journey, on our quest for enlightenment.  We want this oneness, this wholeness, this perfection that we know is there, but are having a hard time laying our hand on.

And so, this experience we call Life is, in some ways, like a darkened room.  Some things we can sense well enough in this darkened room, despite this darkness.  We bump into the sofa and quickly figure out what it is, and what it can do for us, how it can relate to us.  But other things we cannot as easily recognize.  So, what happens?  Well, what happens when we have something in our pocket that we can’t identify or operate well from there?  What do we do?  We bring it out into the open, so that we can use additional abilities to identify it, or work it.  And in this case, we are now able to use our eyes, as well as other abilities in order to see what this thing in our pocket is and how it relates to us.  That’s what we do.  Right?

But guess what?  Here is a huge truth that I hope you are able to hear:  When we can’t sense some of the things that we find within ourselves in this darkened metaphorical room that we call our life, we do the very same thing.  We pull them out.  We project these things outwardly.  We do.

Like pulling things from the depths of our pockets, we pull these fragments of ourselves from within us and manifest them as people and places and events and experiences and things and arrangements and organizations on a mind-boggling level and there, now projected outward, we can see them more clearly. And by projecting them outward, we can now bring onboard additional abilities to observe them and interact with them and see how they fit into our lives.

So here’s the first big truth perhaps shocking truth of this video series:

Your world is filled with nothing but intimate projections of yourself.

Please join me in Part 3 to see how in the world this is possible.

3 -Here Comes the Sun:

Your world is filled with projections of yourself.  That sounds outrageous, doesn’t it?  But it’s true.  Now, I know this is hard to see, so here’s another way to think of this is, an example that I have already used in another video.  In that example, we used this metal sun that is hanging in my den to represent the One.   Remember this?  And we were the rays of this sun, with our consciousness residing on the tip of our ray so that if we never turned around and traced our roots, it would seem to us that we were separate individuals.  Remember that example?

Well, here we see the Mandelbrot fractals pattern repeat again.  In THAT example we saw that We are a projection of the one, a ray of that sun.  However, if we zoom in even closer, you can see this very same pattern is repeating itself in your world.  But in this example, YOU are the centerpoint.  You are the sun, and everyone and everything else in your world is a ray from your sun.  They are projections of you.  Can you see this?  And if we don’t look carefully, very VERY carefully, like in the other example, it is easy to assume all these things are separate from us.  But they aren’t.  They are projections of YOU.

So now we are beginning to look at our world in a very very different way.  Now, there aren’t just random people and places and events anymore.   We are beginning to see we have projected these bits and pieces of us outward as the world we know, and now they are walking about as people and experiences and events.  Amazing, isn’t it?  But true.

And in the same way that we initially believed we were separate the One, we also initially take all these things that fill our world as separate from us.  Until today, you probably were pretty darn sure this was true.  And we assume this because the ability to manifest these things outwardly doesn’t reside in our everyday consciousness - yet.  But beginning to remember this is what we are doing here today.

I know this is hard, so lets put this into a frame we can recognize: How would this external projection play out in our everyday life?  Well, it happens like this:   Before today, we thought of our ex-boyfriend as an entity separate from us who hurt our feelings and so in our opinion, is just a bi-polar jerk that doesn’t deserve us.  That’s what we thought. Because until now, we didn’t consciously recognize that our bad ex-boyfriend was our expression.  We didn’t see  he was the facilitator for our projected sense of vulnerability.  He was this vulnerability personified, and delivered to you with a bow on his head, the externalization of a fracture within us, this perceived vulnerability, lying silently within us, waiting to be healed.  And in a similar manner, each and every person in your life, everyone you know, everyone you will EVER know, is the symbolic manifestation of what lies within you.

But our externalized projections aren’t always bad.  You may have an Uncle John that thinks you are capable of doing no wrong.  Before today, we didn’t see our Uncle John as the living breathing personification of your externalized desire to experience unconditional love and acceptance.   Before today, you just thought you got lucky and somehow landed the world’s greatest uncle, the most warm, loving human on the planet.  You didn’t see he is the fulfillment of this desire, externalized and personified.  But now you do.

And in the same way, we didn’t recognize war as our projection of egotism, born of fear, we just think it’s a nasty, cruel, but inevitable process as old as time and something we can do little about. But that’s not true – when it is healed within, it will heal on the outside.  As above, so below.

And in a similar manner, we didn’t noticed that our relatively newfound fascination with ‘going green’ is the rumblings of our inward recollection of our oneness, that it’s the externalized urge to honor our wholeness and set things right.  But now we begin to see that it is.

In each and every case, what we encounter is always our projection, our desires and fears manifested as experiences and people and places and well, you name it.  This is what we do: We often externalize fractures so they may become conspicuous to us and be resolved.  They become squeaky wheels, staring us in the face, waiting to be healed and integrated.  But they are us.  Your world is your mirror.

I know these thoughts may seem impossible to many of you right now.  But as Huang Po said: A perception, as sudden as blinking, that subject and object are one, will lead to a deeply mysterious understanding; and by this understanding you will awaken to the truth.

And so here is the first of many intersections where we must seem to wear more than one hat, because this world that we believe is real exists on one hand, but on the other hand, doesn’t.  And these people and places around you seem to exist separately from you on one hand, but on the other hand, are your most personal intimate projections, fragments of you, personified.  And it’s all real, but not really real.  Fact, but not Truth.  So, to unite these seeming paradoxes, we must become comfortable with acknowledging two things at one time, with wearing these two hats.

Now, some of you may find it difficult not to jump ahead at this point and wonder, if this is true, how do these worlds connect?  How does my world and your world relate and exist?  These answers and more are coming, but there is much to absorb here first before that answer will find any footing within you.  So, stay with me.

Now, whenever we arrive at this level of discussion, it becomes imperative that we stay in tune with one important perspective, and here it is: At the deeper level, there is the One, all that is.  And that’s true. We might think of him like Atlas, sitting there, supporting our whole world.  But then, this world is here because of the One, and is populated by all these seeming individuals, you and me and everyone else, each of us with our own perspective and what feels like our own identity.  And we have BOTH these things going on at the same time.  On one hand, we have the One.  There is no other.  But on the other hand, there are all these seeming individuals.  Like you and I.   And these things exist at the same time.  So we must make friends of both of these things within us, of both the One as well as the seeming individual.  We must acknowledge both perspectives, and allow them to exist at the same time because we can no longer afford to cling to one or the other if we are to move any further on our path.

Please join me in part 4 to learn why we cannot choose between the two

4 -The Error of Choosing

We can no longer afford to cling to one or the other.  Now there are many very popular theologies and religions that have failed to incorporate the One and the individual fully.  As a result, many have focused only on the One.  They have placed the individual and his experiences upon a shelf, and turned their back on him, more or less, and this is a mistake.  Because you are not a mistake.  You are fingers and eyes of the divine.

Those who turn their backs on the individual are overlooking that this transient individual is also the One in all his glory, just as certainly as the One is.  And this individual is not required, nor does he benefit, from sitting there like a rag doll, waiting to be played with or discarded at the whim of something he perceives as larger, because, correctly viewed, there is nothing larger than him

So this is impossible. He cannot just sit there and watch life pass him by.  As I mentioned before in other videos, you can’t do this.  You are always choosing.  In this case, they would be choosing not to ‘actively or consciously choose’, but that is still their choice.  Do you see?  It is not possible to sit there passively and watch life go by.  It’s impossible, because you have orchestrated all of this, consciously or unconsciously, you have externalized it, you have projected all these things that you believe you are only observing.  It is your handiwork, just as surely as someone who is consciously and actively making choices is also experiencing their handiwork.  It is the same, and we are fooling ourselves if we think it is any different.  So, though you can choose to take a position where you are not consciously aware of your hand in all that is, nothing, NOTHING you do will remove your hand from it.  You cannot be passive.  Your hand IS in all.

Now, the failure to incorporate the two comes forward when we get stuck staring at Atlas there, at the One, who supports the whole world.  If you do that, you WILL begin to think “nothing matters” and “why struggle – why not just let life flow over you?”  because you will only be focusing upon the One in it’s entirety and when you do that, you lose you. You’ve taken off one of your hats, and you’ve turned your head.  You will be trying to ignore this other part, this other FUNCTION of you, and you can’t do that.  Because we, these focuses we call ‘people’ are the fingers and tongue of the One, tasting and sampling and experiencing.  Years ago when I began to get my mind around this, I wrote a very short poem, if you can even call it that, and it simply goes like this:  You  are like a tastebud  on the tongue  of God

1.                             And we are.  As these transient individuals, we are what savors the experience, and gives perspective and variety to the experience, as well as what transiently narrows the focus of the One so that we may experience this particular slice that we call our life.  We are individuals IN DIVIDE DUALS.  We are two in one.  But if we ONLY see the two, if we only see the separation, then we are living in an illusion and we believe that we are born, and die, and we live this illusion in fear.  Or, on the other hand, if we see ONLY see the ONE, then we become like taste buds that try hard not work anymore, still sitting there, taking up space on the tongue, but exclaiming to one another “why bother to taste?  Food has it’s taste, with our without our input” and that takes the joy out of eating, and there would be no reason FOR taste buds to begin with.

2.

3.                             So, neither of these positions are the whole.  We are both, and we must toggle back and forth and embrace them both.  Because To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven Ecclesiastes 3:1

So, how do we want to find this enlightenment we are looking for?  As Jesus said in the gospel of Thomas, “When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]."  (Jesus, gospel of Thomas)

You are ONE, and you are one of the many. Allllllll at the same time.

And so we must reconcile the two.  We must allow ourselves to wear both hats at the same time, not discarding one for the other, and realize that each moment has it’s season.  Sometimes we seem to wear one hat, other times the other one.  But we never forget about or try to discard either of them, because to deny one or the other is to deny yourself and attempt to cut yourself in half.  And good luck with that.  Because You cannot abandon anything.  Everything must be called by it’s name, it must be known and reconciled.

We cannot live in the illusion that we are separate, nor can we sit there limply and believe that there is nothing to do.  There is plenty to do, and more to recall that I can even allude to.  So we must neither go limp, Nor, must we cling so tightly to this focus, this person we believe ourselves to be.  This ‘you’ is only your ride, your peephole (people) at the moment.  It may feel like our only ride because our consciousness is attached to it.  But that brings up a really good question: what is our consciousness?

Please join me in part 5 to find out the unexpected truth about our consciousness

5- Consciousness is a Play Pen

This really needs it’s own video, but we have to touch upon it in order to move forward:

What is our consciousness?  It is our rational thought process, our intelligence.  We take great pride in our intelligence, and we say things like, “Oh be rational!”  or “That isn’t very logical”.  But I have news:  Our consciousness, that which we believe that expands our knowledge and is the wind beneath our wings, isn’t an expander – it is actually a limiter.  Your consciousness is a LIMITER.  It is a constriction, a limitation, though we think of it quite the opposite.  But that’s not true.

Our consciousness, what we think of as our rational thinking mind is actually only a teeny tiny microscopic speck of your actual awareness.  Here’s an example to help us think of it:  Let’s picture what we think of as our consciousness as a really large building, 10mi x 10mi long.  That’s a heck of a building isn’t it? It would seem quite grand. We would be quite proud of it. And that’s how our consciousness seems to us.  Plenty of room to do just about whatever we want to in.   BUT what if this 10 mi x 10 mi building that we call our consciousness sat inside of a space as large as all the galaxies combined.  Because it does.  And THAT space is your actual awareness.

Now that 10mi x 10mi building doesn’t seem so large, does it?  It’s a speck; it’s smaller than a speck, when compared to all the galaxies.  And this 10mi x 10mi building is the part we are aware of, that we call our mind, our consciousness, but your real mind, your real awareness, is something so huge we have trouble contemplating it, because it doesn’t fit inside our 10 mi x 10 mi building, so we can’t bring it in, and examine it as we normally do when we want to contemplate or know something.  It doesn’t fit.  To make matters worse, it’s our habit to make up stories about things that do not fit inside our building, our consciousness, and this is how our beliefs get so far off course.

But just because it won’t fit, doesn’t mean we don’t know about our real awareness.  We do.  We even have a name for it:  We call it our SUBCONSCIOUS or UNCONSCIOUS mind.  THAT is your total awareness.  Not just your conscious mind. To us, who are used to the comparatively secure boundaries of our 10mi x 10 mi building, this is unfathomable.  Our actual awareness is so vast, we can’t even see the edges.  There is so much passing though it, we can’t form it into logical patterns, and so we label it chaos, and make up all sorts of stories and hypothesize endlessly about it.  But there is no such thing as Chaos.  No such thing. Everything has an order.  It’s just that sometimes, we don’t have the perspective to see the order.  So, our consciousness, our 10mi x 10mi building that once seemed so grand, has no choice but to declare it this seemingly unorganized vastness, this chaos, is just random bleeps and flashes - nonsense on our radar.  And it has to, because it can’t connect the dots.  It’s too big.  It doesn’t know what it is.  Even so, we access it alllll the time.  We do it daily, and we leave our consciousness, our limiter, behind.  We access this larger awareness every time we dream.  Sometimes we even take problems that we are having a hard time resolving into our dreams, into our larger awareness, and bring the answers back with us, don’t we? Have you done that before?  I have.  You probably have too.

And so, we often erroneously think of our dreams as merely flights of fantasy, rubbish, bits and pieces of who knows what, but that’s not true.  In fact, most of us only remember a tiny portion of their dreams, only that which can translate (even bizarrely) into our consciousness, that will fit inside our 10mi x 10 mi building.  The rest gets dumped by our conscious mind, because it doesn’t know what to make of it, or stories get made up about it.

Our conscious mind doesn’t let it through the gate into what we call our conscious awareness.  I hope you are beginning to see that our conscious awareness is really just a function of selection.  It keeps what it can make sense of, what it thinks might be important, and turns away what does not fit into your paradigm, or if he can’t turn it completely away, he makes up stories about it.  Your consciousness, is a gatekeeper.  It is a limiter, it’s your doorman in an exclusive nightclub that we call our reality.  We think of it as a means of expansion, but it is actually a limiter, a constrictor.

And in this way, this doorman, our consciousness, keeps what we perceive as reality nice and tidy for us.  He has his checklist that holds what you consider possible within your reality, and that is his bible.  And he only lets in what we have on our list.

So what happens if we want to add to this list?  How do we accomplish that?  Say, we were looking out the window of our consciousness one day and something passed by it that caught our eye.  So, to find out about it, we put it on the list to be allowed in to our consciousness.  We begin to consider the possibility that some of these other things passing by our window briefly might be worth a look, and we begin to be open to exploring them in our paradigm, and making them fit, even if we have to take down walls in our 10mi x 10mi building to get a good look at them.

And this is how our consciousness expands.  We are constantly giving our doorman, our consciousness, an edited list.  This is how we grow.  This is how science opens its mind to the possibility of other things.  This is how new ideas seem to be born.  But nothing is new.  It all already exists.  We just put it on the list to be let into our exclusive Club Reality.  How about that?  And like birds of a feather, in some ways we stick together somewhat on these edits, these updates. Once someone else has approved a new guest on their list, or have taken down a wall and expanded, we all tend to slowly begin to update our lists and remove walls, according to the groups (or boats) that we have associated ourselves with.  This act has been dubbed Morphogenetic Resonance in recent years by some brilliantly observant people, but it is nothing new.  It has been going on since the beginning of time.

Please join me in part 6 to explore the truth about ghosts and aliens and ufos.

6- Welcome unASLEEP’s Sci-Fi Channel: Ghosts and Aliens and UFO’s – Oh my!

So, now we know that our consciousness isn’t all there really is, it is just a particular focus, one that can be edited.  Another way to help us think on this would be to think of our life as a television, and our consciousness as our remote control or channel dial.  All possible shows are broadcast and accessible at all times, aren’t they?  When we chose to come into being here, we had to pick a channel.  We aren’t actually stuck on any one channel, but that’s another video for another day.

Our consciousness selected what would appear on this channel based upon preferences and beliefs, and just like our tv tuner, it selects only this one and blocks out all the other possible channels.  But there are limitless possible channels.  Our consciousness only focuses on this one, it limits our awareness, because otherwise it would be very difficult for us to get a grasp on what seems to be happening.  Imagine multiple channels all overlapping and projected at once on your tv – it would be hard to know what was going on.  So, our consciousness tunes us in to one channel.  Usually.  On the old tvs where you turned the dial by hand, it was possible to tune in two channels at once.  On the newer ones, we have the picture in picture feature, that allows us to view more than one channel.  And it is also possible to do this with our consciousness.  This is how we seem to tune in ghosts, or glimpses of what we perceive as the past or future, or a number of other things we consider paranormal.  In a way, we are transiently straddling more than one channel, we are receiving more than just the signal we are accustomed to. Cool, huh?

Here’s something that you may really find shocking (as if this hasn’t been surprising enough so far), but as we mentioned before in an earlier part of this video, for example, when we wanted to experience unconditional love, we created and projected the entity of our Uncle John.  Up until today you may have thought he was coincidence, or chance, but now you are beginning to realize you put him there.  He is your projection.

Well, there also seems to be at least a handful of more or less archetypal projections that we tend to do when we reach a significant doorway.  When we are poised to step through a new doorway and jump up to a higher level of understanding, we apparently often externalize this impending new awareness as something outside of ourselves, something with a much higher understanding, something alien to us.  Something we like to call extraterrestrials.  You heard me.  I said it.  ET phone home.

Now, before we get ahead of ourselves, let me say that your experience with this projection, as all projections, is personal and will vary.  This is why some view this alien archetypal projection as something they should be afraid of, something with malicious intent, while others have the most serene and happy and blissful viewpoint, seeing only fascination and goodwill.  And some have a mixture of the two.  It depends upon how this impending new awareness makes you feel.  Are you afraid of it, or do you welcome it?  Your perception depends upon you.

Now this archetypal projection might show up in many ways – You might have a sudden newfound fascination with ufos and extraterrestrials, or you may have dreams about them (which you may or may not consciously remember), or you may feel you are channeling them, or you may even project what you will see as an actual encounter.  Why not?  If you can project your Uncle John, you can project ET, because everything you experience is a symbolic representation of what lies within you.  Real, but not really real.

Now, I know this brings up the extra questions again, but stay with me for the moment.  And as you may have already guessed, THIS is what lies behind this whole 2012 fascination, and this building crescendo of people beginning to turn their attention to what we call extra terrestrials.  It is a marker, and if we look, we see it has happened throughout time whenever collective consciousness hits a certain point and they are bumping up to a new awareness.  We see it’s expression carved into rocks and upon hillsides and plains and written into sacred writings of old.  This projection is an archetypal marker of this new awareness approaching.  These symbolic archetypal externalizations actually happen all the time in our daily life, but we overlooked them, because until now, we believed that those things were happening to us, and around us, rather than the truth, which is:   We were the source for all that shows up in our world.

Relax your mind if you can for a moment and loosely think about I am about to say:

When we wished to be born, our Mother, another archetypal projection, manifested to facilitate this expression

When we were ready to learn, a teacher manifested and facilitated our desire

And is it not true that when we believe we must labor to achieve, then hard work is all that surrounds us

When we harbor fear within us, our world fills with things for us to fear

When we see only good, only good rises to meet us

When we look through competitive eyes, we rob ourselves of the Highest Truth – our innate Oneness

When we are open to love, love manifests and feeds us that which we hunger for

When we harbor even the potential for hate within, we will provide ourselves things to hate

When we feel powerless, we will create interactions that demonstrate our lack of strength

And in this same way, when we reach certain thresholds of new awareness that we have no reference for and don’t know what to make of, we take them out of our pocket and project it externally.  Sometimes as regular people and places, sometimes as something higher than us, as something otherworldly, sometimes we project it as alien.

So this new awareness we are moving towards collectively IS in a sense the end of this world as we know it.  But in a good way.  It is the birth of a new awareness, collectively.  And yes, I know a lot of the 2012 hoo-ha is based upon the Mayan calendar as well as ET, but I’ll take this moment to remind you that time doesn’t really exist.  There is no such thing as an actual timeline.  There is only the Now.  As Albert Einstein said:  The only reason for time is so everything doesn't happen at once.   Time is a mental device, and we’ll go into this later in a follow-up video.

So, will the 2012 predictions come true?  No.  And Yes.  What seems to happen will not happen because of any supposed point on a timeline that we are cosmically hurtling towards, it is symptomatic of the events, our awakening as we shrug off our sleep and walk towards our deeper understanding that will bring in this change.  So how it actually manifests is a dynamic matter, dependent upon the harmonics of the moment.  We are largely fearful of it, and this is why many are seeing it as a destructive event.

But think about this: About 2000 years ago, another group of observant people, referencing ancient manuscripts and astrology, followed a moving star that came to rest over a birth that was supposed to end the world as they knew it.  And ET made the show even back then (unless you actually believe that stars drift about in the sky).  It showed the way, and they followed it.  And these wise men were watching for it, too, just as we are today.  It was their 2012.  In fact, it’s kind of interesting to me that here we are, once again, appx. 2000 yrs later, looking for the same events and in the same month that we symbolically attribute this last event happening.  Curious, huh?

Please join me in part 7 to explore what your dreams can show you.

7- What Your Dreams Can Show You

So, I hope you are beginning to see you create your world.  Not metaphorically, but literally.  When some of you hear this, you will think this is impossible, too far out there to consider.  So let me offer you another very down-to-earth example.  We do this very thing when we create our dreams.  In your dream, you have your dreamself, and your dream world, complete with, well everything. Birds, gravity, stars, chocolate, whatever.  And you made it all.  And you populated your dream world, didn’t you?  And all of these people in your dream are YOU, they are fragments of you externalized, projected out into your dream, and personified.  You are the girl you are kissing, as well as the boogieman who is chasing you, the pants you forgot to wear to your presentation as well as those in the audience who are giggling at the nudity of your dreamself.  They are all products of your mind, aren’t they?  They all come from you.  And in a nearly identical sleight of hand, you bring forth what you think of as the external world.

How do we pull this off?  When you are still asleep, when you are in your dreams, you don’t realize this is what is happening, do you?  You don’t usually know you are dreaming.  You walk across the dream floor your mind has created and you think it is real.  It IS real, to your dream figure UNTIL your dream figure catches on that he is dreaming, and by doing this, your dreamfigure brings YOUR consciousness (the consciousness of the dreamer) into HIS consciousness. And then, your dreamself can guide the dream, change the rules, affect anything he wants, including waking up from the dream.  I consciously do it all the time, nearly every night. I catch myself dreaming in my sleep.  And now, I catch myself dreaming when I am awake.

It is when the dreamself only stays within his dreamworld and doesn’t consciously do this, he doesn’t consciously reconcile with the dreamer, that he sees his world as external, and fixed, and governed by acts of random fate and chance.  But when he catches himself dreaming, the rules change.  And this is what we are beginning to do today.

And even if you haven’t had the experience where you catch yourself dreaming, we all still dream, whether we remember our dreams or not.  Your dreams may not fit easily in your 10mi x 10 mi building.  Even so, we are still creating other worlds, with all their complexities, all their variations, all their people, agendas, weather, events, everything. We create the platform, and we put the players on it.  As complicated and improbable as that sounds when you really look at it, we do it all the time.  As the old saying goes, it’s so easy, we can do it in our sleep.   We take it for granted.  No big deal.

And here again, we can turn to the Mandelbrot fractal for help.  There’s a pattern here.  We can easily see this event, our building our dream worlds in our sleep, in our normal nightly dreams, can’t we?  So, zoom out, and you will see you are doing the exact same thing HERE, in what you consider to be reality.

Now, HERE is the reason we think our world is real, and our dreams are not:  It is because what we call our ‘waking life’ seems to have continuity.  We awake to the same people and places.  But our dreams are often wildly varied, aren’t they?  And this is why we don’t see it as the same.

But the culprit is this:  Our consciousness.  When we are conscious, as we are in what we perceive as our waking life, the limiter is in effect.  The doorman is standing guard, making sure only approved things get into our Club Reality.  So, compliments of our consciousness (our limiter) there appears to be consistency.

But what happens each night when the doorman, who keeps things all nice and tidy for us when we are awake, gets the night off and we step outside of our consciousness, our 10 mi x 10 mi building, and out into our total awareness? ….a place so big we can’t even see the edges, much less account for all that is in there because EVERYTHING is in there.

What happens when we go to sleep and leave our consciousness, our doorman, aside and give ourselves to our unconsciousness, our larger awareness?  Anything can and does happen.  Doesn’t it?  And there is order and continuity, we just have trouble tracking it.  And this platform exists in what we call our dreams, where anything can happen, as well as in what we consider to be reality.  This dreamreality is reality for your dream character, the one who is sitting here listening to me speak.  It is only when he catches himself and realizes the dream, that he can begin to rule over all.

Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds.
When he finds, he will become troubled.
When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished,
and he will rule over the All."  Jesus – gospel thomas

For some of you listening here today, you will no longer be able to sit in the movie theater of life and munch your popcorn and be caught up in what is being projected in front of you, unaware of your role.  You will see the projector.  You will recognize your hand holding the boom.  You will begin to recognize the characters you have cast, and the locations you have selected.  This is YOUR WORLD, in the broadest sense of the word.  You may not want to hear it.  You may not like what you have projected.  But now that you realize that you can affect what you have created, you can set about to make it something that you would like.

All of the pieces are yours.  None of them can be discarded.  Not even your ex-girlfriend who drove you nuts – even if she seems to leave your stage, she’ll reappear in one mask or another until you resolved her, until you smooth and straighten the fracture within you that she is born of.  Then, she appears as a joy and she is reintegrated into the whole, the prodigal daughter come home.  So, no matter what face they wear, you will continue to experience these fragments of you.  They will come again and again, lifetime after lifetime, until the source of their fragment is healed and they are whole, and fall into harmony with their creator.

This is the meaning of the biblical metaphor of the great shepherd and his sheep.  if a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone wandering away, will he not let the ninety-nine be, and go to the mountains in search of the wandering one? Matthew 18:12  The shepherd watches his flock, and cares for his flock, and should one break apart from the rest and go astray, he searches tirelessly until they are brought back into the fold.  You are the shepherd of your world.  Now go and get your sheep.

8- The Beauty of an Impartial Eye

So I hope you are beginning to see everything and everyone is our projection, an externalized piece of you.  Some people find this hard to believe, and don’t want to think that they could be the cause of the things they experience, especially those experiences that they did not like.  They want it to be the fault of something else, not them, and if nothing else, they at least want it to be chance.  Well, chance does not exist.  You create Everything.  Everything arises dynamically from you.  And when you have ripened to the point where you can see this, where you can begin to accept this, then you will see yourself in all things, and all things are yours, and it’s a wonderful homecoming.  But when you still see yourself as separate, you cut yourself off from yourself, and a house divided cannot stand.

So see all as spirit and light and do not see anything as separate from you.  How can you now that you see this thing you call your life is really a hallucination of sorts, a dream where you have created everything – the players and the playing field, and all of it comes from you – even the people, whether you love them or hate them, fear them or desire them.  And this is unsettling at first, to say the least.  But it is also empowering.  And, it is the Truth, and the Truth sets us free.

Your unspoken task, this thing you are gravitating towards is to reconcile all these pieces you have projected and bring them into harmony with the whole, even those you do not like, or you fear.  Wait a minute, you may say, but Sally, my arch nemesis, finally moved away and I don’t know where!  How am I supposed to resolve her?  Don’t worry.  Sally has gone nowhere.  The fragment of you that gave birth to her will reappear in another face, or even as an event, in your NOW to reconcile.  There is no escape!

The Buddha said: He who experiences the unity of life sees his own Self in all beings, and all beings in his own Self, and looks on everything with an impartial eye.

And Buddha wasn’t talking of an impartial eye born of apathy, as some interpret this saying, but an impartial eye because of seeing this great truth –

when you see yourself in all things, who is there to favor?  To be partial to?  You greet yourself in every pair of eyes that you see.

Please join me in part 9 to explore the truth behind OOB experiences

9-The Truth About OOBS

I hope you are beginning to see that sometimes things we seem to see or things we seem to do herald the arrival of a change within us, of a ripening that may have occurred without our consciously noticing.  So sometimes, we find ourselves acting out things that we aren’t consciously aware of. We perform them, unaware that this is what we are doing.

And in the same way that our projection of aliens may be a sign of our impending new collective awareness, of this new ‘jump’ that we make like electrons into a higher level of understanding, out of body experiences can also be a sign of, as well as be a way that we demonstrate our genuine  acceptance of yet another higher Truth:  It may be our acting out, our demonstration that we have begun to truly realize that we are not these bodies we originally thought ourselves to be.  And we are acting this out unconsciously, like a ripened apple falling from the tree.  Some of us are acting out this new awareness by seeming to disconnect their mind from their body, which is pretty much the definition of oob experience.  But as you know, this separation can only be an illusion because our body is a projection of our mind.  How can you separate the two?  You can’t, really.

But we can pretend to, like children playing pretend and in this act of pretending we are acting out this higher truth that has slid quietly into our awareness – that we are not our body, and we are not dependent upon our body.  In a very real way, OOB experiences are similar to what we like to call lucid dreaming.  Now wait, you say, I saw myself drift down my hall, my REAL hall and up and out through my kitchen ceiling into the night sky.  Well, your awareness projected this perception, just like when we dream.  Now, please don’t be disappointed because you aren’t really going anywhere and you got all excited and thought you were – after all, where is there to go?  There is nothing that is not your projection, a dream of sorts.  Your experience is just like reality, actually.  We seem to go to work.  We seem to come home.  We seem to go here and there, but Time and space are illusions.  They are mental conveniences, not reality, and we will go into this more deeply in the follow-up video.

Now, back to the matter at hand, when we dream, don’t we also seem to separate ourselves from what we think of as our real body?  We go into a trance of sort, an altered consciousness, though we think nothing mysterious of it.   And once we have done this, we go to all sorts of places in our dream bodies – bodies that can sometimes fly, or run without tiring, that can even pass through walls if the dreamscape default pattern grants it permission to.  Can you see the similarities to what is described as out of body experiences?  It’s because they are similar.  And the higher truth is, no one is actually going anywhere anyhow in any state, awake or asleep, in or out of your body.   Toggle here with me, because on one hand, we are this dream character who is only beginning to see what he is, and to reach backwards into the consciousness of the dreamer.   So to our dream character, all of this is real.  He goes places.  He has oob experiences.  But to the real dreamer, the real you, he is just a projection.

So, when we look at the bigger picture, OOB experiences are a different reality we project, with different rules, just as we do when we have a regular dream.  And this is all fine.  Can you see this?  So, have all the alien encounters and oob experiences you can fit into your schedule.  But don’t feel left out if you don’t have them because your method of externalized expression may be more subtle.  All external projections are uniquely and intimately you.  Don’t worry if you seem to experience little or none of these things.  But there IS one thing we do need to worry a bit about:  We must watch ourselves and NOT become overly fascinated with any of these symbolic expressions, as cool as they may seem to your dream character who is sitting there listening to me speak today. See these experiences for what they are – your expression or ‘acting out’ or demonstration of these various new perspectives as they begin to come forward in your awareness.  They may be real, but they aren’t really real.  They may seem fact, but they are not the higher Truth.

Please join me in part 10 for some insanely deep thoughts

10- Some Insanely Deep Thoughts

So I hope you are beginning to see that everything we do is a demonstration of what lies within us.  The whole world is indeed a stage, and we are all players.  In fact, we are ALL the players.  Imagine that.  You can’t?  Well, you already do imagine it.  And that is what I am pointing to.

Everything we do, every action we take, is attached to a belief we hold within us, consciously or unconsciously.  EVERYTHING….Even the most mundane things.   Even eating, for example, is demonstrating our desire for communion, and externalizing our belief that we are dependent upon this world, that we are of this world. So, in our demonstration of eating, we take the world into ourselves as we eat.  It’s our very unconscious demonstration of trying to reunite what we see as two, back into one, because we believe we are dependent upon this arrangement.  Now, nobody stop eating tomorrow or something.  Don’t do that.  I am just pointing to a hidden agenda that we all initially have.

Even before we had much of a consciousness and were babies, we sought to take in our Mothers, what we perceived as our world, into us.  We nursed, and soothed these feelings of separation and dependence that externalized in the form of hunger.

Of course, we don’t normally think of these things consciously.  These things are insanely deep to ponder, but will come to you in season.  We just eat, don’t we?  And in the same way an OOB experience can be a demonstration of our ripened awareness that we are beginning to truly see we are not our bodies, eating is a demonstration of our utter belief and conviction of our dependence upon this world, and our attempt at constantly reuniting what we view as two.   And so, we eat.  These are the rules for our dream character, the one who is sitting here listening to me.  And he must abide by these rules, with disastrous results if he foolishly tries to jump immaturely to higher bands of actuality before he is ripe.  He has to eat.  Don’t stop feeding him.  But just switch hats for a moment and look deeper and see what his act of eating is actually a demonstration of.  Think about this: Would a sleeping dream character of yours have to eat to survive?  Not really, he is your projection.  But if the rules of his dreamscape say he does, then he does, or he will demonstrate this belief in your dream by appearing to die.

This world that we think is real is also your projection, not unlike your nightly dream.  And you, your dream character here, is bound by the rules of the dream we project.  So again, keep feeding him.  But take a little peek with me under the hood here.  Connect the dots, and see that the higher truth is, you aren’t dependent upon the world to exist.  This world’s existence is dependent upon YOU.

This is what was being pointed to in this often confused phrase in the gospel of Thomas that goes:  Blessed is the lion which a man eats so that the lion becomes a man. But cursed is the man whom a lion eats so that the man becomes a lion!”  When we willingly take the world (as symbolized by the lion) within us, when we make it one with us, and we reunite them, then the world becomes blessed.  But when we allow ourselves to be consumed by the world, then we, the divine, resign ourselves to being a victim of our own creation.

As I became aware of this, I expressed it In a very short poem (if you can call it that even ) I for some reason titled: Eat Me  and it goes

You must first

take off your robe,

consume the world,

then put your robe

back on again.

Like I said, this is an insanely deep thought, and a very sticky one.  Take your time and approach it when you are able to see it.  I just wanted to point to it, for those of you who can see.  Discard it, if it is not useful to you.

So, if we pay attention we can now choose to look at our world very differently.  We see what we once thought were separate people, and places and events, are actually our manifested handiwork, expressions of us, externalized fragments.

And we now see that everything we do has two meanings:  The superficial meaning, as well as one with much, much deeper roots.   So we can not only watch the people and events and places we encounter to see what lies within us, we can also watch our every action, because no matter how common or mundane it seems, I guarantee you it has a much deeper root.  If it did not, it would not be here, hiding under the disguise of your everyday life.

Please join me in part 11 for Tools and Truths

11-Title:  Tools and Truths

So we have all these things rising within us, and we are demonstrating them, externalizing them, acting them out unaware.  As I have mentioned in earlier videos, sometimes some of us like to use what I call tools to help us…tools like channeling, tarot cards, astrology, pretty much every paranormal gimmick or trick out there.  Even religion is a tool.  The list is endless.  And it’s fine to use these tools to help demonstrate or act out what is rising within you, but just remember, every tool leaves it’s marks.  Some more so than others.  What I mean by this is, If you use a hammer to beat on a piece of metal and form a bowl, using the hammer can indeed be one way to make the metal conform into the shape you want, but the metal will also bear the marks of the hammering.  And this wasn’t supposed to be part of the bowl, originally.

So, every tool we use brings it’s own pollution, it’s own tainting.  Does that mean we shouldn’t use them?  That’s up to you.  I say, use them if you need to, stop using them when you don’t.  It’s up to you.  But it DOES mean that when we use a tool, we have a new responsibility.  We should be acutely aware of the byproducts the tool adds, the resulting marks of the tool, because these marks are not actually a part of this that you brought forward. And we must look past these marks to see the Truth unpolluted by the hand of man.  You must always be aware of this when you choose to use tools.

Now, everyone is always very interested in specifically how we can manifest, how we can affect things in our life.  There are three thoughts that need to be updated in our mind before we can really begin to manifest directly and intentionally, and I am not just talking about finding a better job, or making your life more pleasant type of manifesting - things that are somewhat open-ended.  I am talking about really making specific things happen.  Things that bend and break rules.  Things we would call miraculous.

I did not find what I am about to tell you by reading about it, because though there are many places you can go that claim to teach you how to grasp this, to me, the picture they painted was always heavily discolored and smeared by a specific motive or perspective.  So, I did it the way I like to do things:  Directly.  I called out.  I called this thing I was seeking into my awareness and actions by my intense desire for it, and I did not stop calling it until it came.  And it is still coming.  But here is what I can share.

As I could sense it drawing near, it came with manifestations to utilize it.  At first, I wasn’t good at it, and I wasn’t successful in my attempts.  There was a control I wasn’t holding steady, and that control was fear.  Fear and love are like darkness and light.  When fear appears, love has left the room.  By the same token, where love abides, fear can have not footing.  And I’ll be honest with you – this is a lot harder to begin to find your balance with than you may expect.  I am still finding my balance with it.  But even so, every little tiny shuffling step I manage to make makes SUCH a drastic difference - so know that even though you seem to be making slow progress, ANY progress seems to be rewarded exponentially and your efforts are greatly rewarded.

Anyhow, so as this drew near me, so did experiences in which it could be used.  These experiences had to motivate me, so they weren’t what you would call ‘good things’ that appeared in my life.  They were things I desperately wanted to affect, to alter their default course.  And in the beginning, some did not work out as I had hoped.  Things did happen, but not what I wanted.  I was like a drunken wizard with a wand I couldn’t quite control or direct.  I was getting the miraculous, but not as I had hoped, and it was both heartbreaking and frustrating.  So for a while, I had a period of anger, and confusion, and disillusionment.

Please join me in part 12 part to see how I began to move beyond this seeming impasse

12- Moving Beyond the Impasse

So, for a while, I was angry and confused. I admit it.   But this thing I called is like a cat.  It may seem to take its own sweet time showing up, but once there, it will wind in and out of your legs and jump up on your lap, and refuse to leave you alone until you pay it proper attention.  And so eventually, I turned to it again, and I saw how utterly reliant the entire process was upon the removal of any form of fear. The first thing that happened, happened unconsciously, unintentionally, and it was only in retrospect that I realized what it was.  I noticed that if I held whatever I wanted to affect in my mind’s eye, even though it’s outline held true, the shape filled with sparkling light in my mind, very very much like the light you can see on a body of water when the sun is bright and the water blown by the wind.  It sparkles brilliantly, like liquid diamonds, and this is what I saw.  In my case, (may or may not be in yours) this was apparently a visual manifestation of my true unspoken realization that there are no solid things, but rather only spirit.  I had intellectually grasped this for a very long time.  But suddenly, it dropped into a much deeper place, a place of knowing.  Instead of believing the fact that science provided me, this awareness became inescapable.  Instinctive.  Reflexive.  And that’s much much different that intellectually grasping something.  So, this was my way of acknowledging that all, without exception, is spirit, 100% of the time.

And once we have this escapable truth within us, then we have this dawning, this true revelation, and we find ourselves effortlessly flowing to the next facilitating truth, which is: Spirit can never be less than perfect.  It can’t.  Hmmm  That’s a bigger thought than you may realize, and it affects the whole playing field.

So, there were no things or people or places, all was spirit.  But spirit can never be less than perfect.  So why all the suffering and chaos?

Suddenly you begin to truly see that anything and everything that is projected out there that is less than perfect, is an illusion.  So, for example, your illness or disease isn’t something you fight and overcome, as we commonly think.  You understand it is more of an illusion that you let go of.  And you do this by looking and seeing what is casting this illusional shadow upon your perfect spirit, and then set about getting rid of it.

But why would we add these illusions in the first place?  Why do we do this to us?  It doesn’t seem to make sense.  Well, though the things I am about to say may be hard to hear, I could now see that sometimes we use sickness and disease as a vehicle.  A bad vehicle, but we don’t see it this way at the time, and we don’t realize it is coming from us.  For everything that appears in your world, there is deeper belief, or otherwise, it would not appear in your world. .  It may be a wrong belief, but there it is.  So sometimes, being sick may be the way we buy ourselves time and distance from something else we are avoiding, and we have no idea we are doing this.  Sometimes illness or injury brings us attention, or an excuse to rest or be taken care of, or noticed.  Again, we usually have not a clue we are doing this.  Sometimes, it’s there as assistance in reconciling something you want to reconcile, but would never do unless you felt you had no option and were put in a particular situation.  Other times, sickness is just unconscious fear, projected externally onto us, or projected externally as people and situations to fear.  It can also come from guilt, or anger, or frustration personified and externalized, as well as other things.  It can show up in a million ways.  But no matter what mask it wears, it is ALWAYS the same thing: It is an illusion.

Now, to some of you, I know this seems harsh, and sounds cruel.  Who wants to point out to someone who is suffering that their illness is their projection, and an illusion, at that - an illusion that could seem to end the life of this dear one.  Who wants to tell someone that? Well, I ask you, which of you is prepared to tell this dear one “Sorry, God just didn’t care enough about you to keep you from suffering like the rest of us.” Or “Sorry, it’s just random fate.  You just drew an unlucky card. Too bad.”  Now which sounds worse?  Though this idea might be new to how we look at illness, and not well received at first, I for one would certainly prefer to realize suffering was something I had caused, because if I were doing it, then I could stop doing it.

Nothing but perfection is real.  You are perfect, and when we are ready to let go of these wrong thoughts and see what is actually there – our perfection – these illusions begin to fade - slowly and awkwardly at first, perhaps, but fade they do as we move onto a whole new playing field.  One you have never seen before.

Please join me in part 13 for New Frontiers:  Learning to Walk

13 - New Frontiers: Learning to Walk

Now it is important to note, just like shadow puppets on the wall, none of these illusions are actually greater than another, except in our mind.  In truth, it is no more difficult to do away with a toothache than to do away with cancer.  Both are just shapes we have projected onto our wall.  It is the weight we give them with our minds that makes them difficult adversaries.  It’s the toxic profile of their default pattern that we have given them that seems to make them hard to beat.  But In truth, remove that which is projecting the shadow, any shadow, and the illusion disappears, no matter what it was, according to the season you permit it to follow.  So one shadow vanishes as easily as the next, once that which was creating it is reconciled.

So, Truth #2 is to see is simply this:  All things are spirit.  Not some.  All.  Matter does not exist.  Even science tells us this, but we can’t bring ourselves to integrate this truth into our everyday minds.  We still think the table we sit our keys down on is solid, even though atoms are reported to be 99.9 space.  This is a wonderful thing to know.  Matter does not exist.  Only what we call spirit.  And things like illness and disease and even death (or birth for that matter) are illusions that we give permission to and bring to life in our world, with or without our conscious awareness.  They are shadows we overlay upon spirit like bad costumes, and then we believe this masquerade, and our belief gives birth to more illusions.  And so the cycle goes, and builds.

Try this little experiment to get yourself moving in this way.  The next time you are tired, and you think your body needs to lie down and rest right away, catch yourself and for just a moment, think “There IS no body.  There are no mechanics here to tire.  There is only eternal spirit.  Any tiredness or achiness is my projection, the product of a hidden agenda, or perhaps merely bad habit.  This body is ageless.  It is nothing but light.  Tiredness is unknown to it, unless I tell it so.” Or something similar to that, And watch how instantly your weariness drops away, even if it is only for a fleeting second or two.  But you’ll sense it leave, and you’ll go “Wow”.  And your belief will grow.  And you can work on extending seconds like that in all areas of your life.  Bring this Truth into your everyday awareness, give it life and breath there, and watch your world begin to change.

What is spirit can never die, and you are spirit.  Because you imagine yourself as your body, and your body as matter, you will seem to be capable of living or dying, of being healthy or ill.  But the truth is, these are your projection.  See the eternal truth, this bigger picture I am pointing at.  Begin to stop projecting illusions of fear, give no more breath to them, and see yourself for what you are – eternal spirit, infinite perfection.  Begin laying down your illusions, ever so carefully extract yourself from them, one by one, until you have laid them all aside and you can say “It is finished”.   It is completed.  It is complete.  It is whole.

So, rule #1?  No fear.  And this isn’t something you can bluff.  This is a peace comes from seeing things correctly, as they truly are.  Rule #2 – All is spirit.  Know it as spirit.  Rule # 3:   Realize that all is your projection, an extension of you.  There is no separation between you and anything that appears in your world.  And this is important because what you truly recognize as you, you can affect.

At first it requires great focus and deliberate effort fueled by desire, like when you were a baby learning to walk. You had the desire to know more, to expand your world and you found legs, literally and metaphorically, in the manifestation of you learning to walk, to move about and explore this area you created.  Now at first learning to walk is challenging.  We make lots of mistakes.  But eventually it comes naturally, with little deliberate thought ever necessary.  Thy will, will simply be done. Mountain move.  And this is what we are doing with the new thoughts expressed in these videos.  We are giving ourselves new legs, stepping up to abilities we never dared to believe we had.  Babies have no reference for walking, just a desire backed up by an unseen knowing that they can achieve this.  If you feel this knowing rising within you, join me.  Gently and carefully begin to pull yourself up, and before you know it, your world will be a different place.  We may have been lost in our dream for a time, but now, we are awakening.

I hope these new insights are useful to you in creating the world you want to see.

Loving people live in a loving world. Hostile people live in a hostile world. Same world.
Wayne Dyer

Be the change that you want to see in the world.
Mohandas Gandhi

Few cross the river of time and are able to reach non-being. Most of them run up and down only on this side of the river. But those who when they know the law follow the path of the law, they shall reach the other shore and go beyond the realm of death.
Horace

The world exists only when we think about it; creation stories are for children. In reality the world is created every moment.

- Jean Klein

“In the gap between subject and object lies the entire misery of humankind.”

- J. Krishnamurti

“What we observe as material bodies and forces are nothing but shapes and  variations in the structure of space. Particles are just schaumkommen  (appearances). The world is given to me only once, not one existing and one  perceived. Subject and object are only one. The barrier between them cannot be said to have broken down as a result of recent experience in the physical  sciences, for this barrier does not exist.’

- Erwin Schrodinger

"Jesus said to them, 'When you make the two one, and when you make the inside  like the outside and the outside like the inside... then will you enter the  Kingdom.'

- Gospel of Thomas

The Tao is called the Great Mother:
empty yet inexhaustible,
it gives birth to infinite worlds.

It is always present within you.
You can use it any way you want

To what goal?  Finding this balance

Giving birth and nourishing,
having without possessing,
acting with no expectations,
leading and not trying to control:
this is the supreme virtue.

We shape clay into a pot,
but it is the emptiness inside
that holds whatever we want.

We hammer wood for a house,
but it is the inner space
that makes it livable.

We work with being,
but non-being is what we use.

Approach it and there is no beginning;
follow it and there is no end.
You can't know it, but you can be it,
at ease in your own life.
Just realize where you come from:
this is the essence of wisdom.

The Master, by residing in the Tao,
sets an example for all beings.
Because he doesn't display himself,
people can see his light.
Because he has nothing to prove,
people can trust his words.
Because he doesn't know who he is,
people recognize themselves in him.
Because he has no goad in mind,
everything he does succeeds.

The soft overcomes the hard.
The slow overcomes the fast.
Let your workings remain a mystery.
Just show people the results
.

But Not into the Tao.  I have yet to read a sacred document that does not bear the mark of the misunderstandings of man.  Learning to see is learning to not throw the baby out with the bathwater.  All things passed through man bear his fingerprints to varying degree.  You must use discernment to look past the smudgy fingerprints  of man.

The Master sees things as they are,
without trying to control them.
She lets them go their own way,
and resides at the center of the circle.

When you have names and forms,
know that they are provisional.
When you have institutions,
know where their functions should end.

The Master has no mind of her own.
She works with the mind of the people.

She is good to people who are good.
She is also good to people who aren't good.
This is true goodness.

She trusts people who are trustworthy.
She also trusts people who aren't trustworthy.
This is true trust.

The Master's mind is like space.
People don't understand her.
They look to her and wait.
She treats them like her own children.

When two great forces oppose each other,
the victory will go
to the one that knows how to yield.

Failure is an opportunity.
If you blame someone else,
there is no end to the blame

Wise men don't need to prove their point;
and men who need to prove their point aren't wise.

Death is the byproduct of believing in physical manifestations

There is nothing but spirit

What appears to be your physical manifestation is your perception, your idea of you
